I finalized the routes this morning. I loaded them all on the garmin 510 and surprisingly enough they all fit. I had to stop following the river in Greenville, MS so as to make it to Hammond in time to make the MS 150. Routes can be seen HERE. There are two ways you can donate to my cause. First way is clicking the Pay Pal donate button at the top right of this page. That money goes into a fund that will be accessible by me in case of an emergency. Example: major bike repair, transportation around riots in St. Louis, bus ticket home if I become ill... etc. The balance of that fund will be donated in its entirety to the National MS Society at the Hammond event. The other way you can donate is to go HERE and donate directly to them in my name.

The master plan

I will be starting in Bemidji Minnesota following the Mighty Mississippi down to  New Orleans Louisiana. The plan is to make it back in time for the MS 150 in Hammond the first weekend in October. Averaging 65 miles a day the entire trip should take me a little over a month to complete. I will be riding non supported. Which means I have to carry everything I will need with me.
